The IB offers high-quality and challenging educational programmes for a worldwide community of schools, aiming to create a better, more peaceful world. At the heart of all programmes is the IB Learner Profile, a long-term, holistic vision of education that underpins the IB Programmes and puts the student at the centre of everything we do. The Learner Profile is the IB mission statement in action and provides a set of learning behaviours which aims to inspire, motivate and focus students, teachers and the entire IB School community, uniting them in a common purpose. Southpointe is authorized as an IB Continuum School teaching the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes.

ISABC schools are committed to innovation, excellence and opportunity in every aspect of a child’s education.  Collectively the Association’s schools strive to deliver for students the best academic programming, support, and co-curricular and leadership opportunities. All ISABC schools are regularly inspected and meet the BC Ministry's expectations for independent schools.
 

The Canadian Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) was established in 1981 as a national network for member schools supporting collaborative initiatives in leadership, education, management and governance. All CAIS schools commit to undergoing a reflective and collaborative school improvement process, meet national standards, and participate in research and professional development.
 

The Federation of Independent School Associations in BC (FISA BC), established in 1966, is an umbrella organization for independent school groups in British Columbia. The advantage of membership in FISA BC lies in belonging to a community that shares a commitment to freedom of choice in education.

Southpointe is accredited by the British Columbia Ministry of Education as an authorized Independent School.
